For their services, Luke Harvey received a Purple Heart and Natasha Woodruff received the Women of Courage award by the Pentagon, with Harvey serving as an Infantryman and Woodruff serving as a Geospatial Engineer in the United States Army. After medically retiring in 2014, they settled into a house by a lake with their children in Lincolnton, North Carolina. In addition to their military background, they were selected for Military Makeover because their home was long overdue for a renovation.
