Media Roundup: LP Buzz at International Builders' Show

Between the launch of a new portfolio, debuting several products and much more, the 2020 NAHB International Builders' Show was one for the books for the LP Building Solutions team. But don't just take it from us. Check out the buzz that LP caught at the show, including all the details on this year's booth and product introductions.

LP Structural Solutions

Aligning with its mission of providing a solutions-driven approach for the industry, LP recently unveiled the launch of LP Structural Solutions. The branded portfolio of framing and sheathing products is specifically engineered to combat resiliency demands of various geographical areas.

Forbes caught up with Craig Miles, business marketing manager at LP Building Solutions, to learn more at IBS. Read more from Forbes here, including why Miles says the company has “never felt more empowered to make meaningful decisions.”

LP WeatherLogic® Water Screen

LP WeatherLogic® Water Screen, a synthetic polymer-based screen that can be used with OSB and a WRB housewrap or with an integrated panel, made waves before IBS as one of the top new products to check out on the show floor. Additionally, ProSales talked with Casey Smyth, marketing product manager for LP Building Solutions, watch the ProSales video to see Smyth talk through the product in action at the booth. 

LP® SmartSide® ExpertFinish® Trim & Siding

LP® SmartSide® ExpertFinish® Trim & Siding, a new prefinished siding option that features ExpertFinish® Lap to reduce the need for seam caulking, joint molds or pan flashing at butt joints, also debuted at IBS. Derek Blank, senior brand manager – corporate brand and LP SmartSide, chatted through all the details on At Home With Gary Sullivan. Listen to Blank speak about the latest addition to the prefinished siding market, including why LP specifically chose to release it in 16 colors. Additionally, Sarah Caperton, LP SmartSide product manager, spoke with ProSales about the launch in this video.

LP Elements® Performance Fencing

Last but not least, LP rolled out an expansion to LP Elements® Performance Fencing at IBS. Building upon its 2019 product line introduction, LP added 8-foot pickets this year. Ken Cobbler, general sales manager for LP Elements® Performance Fencing, talked to ProSales here about what differentiates this product from the competition. 

LP Building Solutions Booth

Beyond new product launches, LP featured several interactive booth elements that made it the talk of the showroom. For example, the 7D experience allowed show attendees to experience the LP portfolio in an unforgettable way. HBS Dealer spotlighted LP's booth as one that made a splash as well as LBM Journal highlighting the booth here.
